HONORARY AWARDS

Presented by the Quebec Lung Association, Health Canada, and the Association des médecins du Québec (Physicians Association) for his work on smoking which can be found in most hospitals, at the Montreal Heart Institute, in government departments, corporations, embassies, at the Ordre des dentistes du Québec (Dentists Associat!on), Collège des médecins, the Fondation québécoise du cancer (Cancer Foundation), in all Canada Post branches, and in several countries.

The artist's work is part of the collection of the Canadian Museum of Civilization (Ottawa) and the Canadian Museum of Nature (Ottawa).

HONORARY CEREMONY

Given by authorities of the Mirabel Airport. His work entitled Mirabel is on permanent display, open to the public, and is part of Transport Canada's private collection.

TRIBUTE CEREMONY

Given in honour of the artist for his overall work on drugs and his social commitment. Attending were representatives from the Government of Canada, varions police forces (drug squad, M.U.C.), R.C.M.P., and representatives from large corporations such as Jean Coutu Pharmacies, Chabad, Sun Youth, 3M, Famous Players, Burger King, Guess Jeans, Federal Express, Weider Sports, etc.

DISTINCTIONS

Mr. Nolet received many honorary distinctions from the French delegation (Bordeaux and Toulouse in France), the Office of Tourism, and Louise Robic, Minister. The artist took part in the Cerebral Palsy Telethon, was featured in several reports, and his work was covered by a television show with the stage comedian Albert Millaire, and in radio shows for CKLM, CKMB, CJOS. Mrs. Lola Johnson, director of the Modem Arts Museum in New York praises the artist's work. He represents the Aboriginal people, work reproduced and distributed in Versailles, France by Industry and Science Canada. Member of the jury for the Caisses populaires de Laval, etc.
